I got to explore Mount Rainier National Park three days in total. On one of my free days at the help exchange, my host gave me a tour of Mount Rainier National Park starting from the Nisqually Entrance. It was a sunny Monday in September and there were a fair amount of visitors for being non-peak season. Unfortunately her car broke down in the middle of the Park (Stevens Canyon Road) and I only got to see about half the planned stops. When I left the help exchange about a week later, I rented a car, overnighted in Packwood, and drove back for days two and three to see some of the sights I had missed. Even on a cloudy day the Park was still beautiful.
