Ivy completed a Mentored Advanced Project (MAP) through her studies at Grinnell College, focused on site-specific dance and in conjunction with the National Water Dance. I took some shots before the performance on a cold and windy day in March. Everyone withstood the cold and we got some beautiful shots.

Since Mónica was little she has danced ballet folklórico from the Mexican state of Jalisco. Her mother even made her beautiful dress by hand! We went to the studio on a cold wintery day and took some shots, and I learned I have a lot to learn about taking photos with moving fabric!
